Technology and translation - a strong team
The classical solution for simultaneous interpreting is a complete set of headphones, microphones, loudspeakers and one interpreter's booth per language pair. This offers you top quality in terms of transmission, and seamless communication is ensured even when speakers and languages alternate rapidly.
As a portable solution for guided tours, plant visits etc., you may want to use a Tour Guide System. This comprises headsets for the listeners and one microphone for each language pair.
For optimized communication, we recommend a PA-system for any group of more than 15 people. We can provide this as well, along with wireless microphones - clip-on, handheld, stationary or table.
We look forward to helping you decide what you are going to need - and what you can do without. Interpreting can also be done with no equipment at all: there is the method of chuchotage, where the interpreters sit right next to those who need translation, providing them with a whispered simultaneous interpretation. This technique is recommended for a maximum of two people per language.
Consecutive interpreting is another technique that can be used without technical support - it adapts flexibly to the changing needs of your meeting.
